Ieri su You Tube mentre guardavo un documentario su Federico II di Svevia, non ho ancora capito perché tra i suggerimenti il canale multimediale abbia inserito questo:  Carcere duro Alaska , così ho fatto mente locale a un leggendario film " A trenta secondi dalla fine",  dove la trama si svolge proprio tra i ghiacci dell' Alaska in un carcere anche quello di massima sicurezza.  Ma il documentario è  altra cosa, le interviste ai detenuti, uomini che faranno tutta la loro esistenza dentro quell'abisso, carcerati con condanne di 85 e  99 anni. Il documentario fa parte di una della 6 puntate realizzate da Discovery Channel,  qua si imbatte in un tema delicato e scottante, le condizioni: fisiche e psichiche di queste persone che vengono detenute dentro un vero e proprio incubo. Ci credereste che il nostro paese è il quarto maggior importatore non di carne di maiale...ma di squalo e anche tra i maggiori consumatori , non vi sembrerebbe incredibile? Gli altri paesi sono Hong Kong, la Spagna e Corea. Gli italiani gente davvero strana che pensi degli abitudinari del ragù e maccheroni, ma che invece amano magari nell'anonimato il diverso. L'importazione di carne di squalo in Italia si presta a nomi diversi probabilmente per camuffare il mercato. I nomi dunque possono poi variare da regione a regione, tra i più comuni: spinarolo, palombo, gattuccio, mako . La federazione Shark Alliance che collabora con oltre 100 associazioni ambientaliste ha emanato questo dato davvero incredibile,nel 2006 l'Italia ha fatto importare oltre 13mila tonnellate di squalo.
